Mathyness has deep roots in ASU and the City of Tempe. Our founder launched this tutoring service in Tempe in 2020, eventually evolving it into Mathyness in 2023. Events like PHX Startup Week played a crucial role in shaping our vision. The website itself was coded in local spots like Infusion Coffee & Tea and Phoenix Rock Gym—often between climbing routes.
Tempe’s industrial vibe, vibrant student community, and entrepreneurial energy create the ideal atmosphere for innovation and creativity. We frequently work with ASU’s business majors and hope current students catch the entrepreneurial spirit, just like our founder did. We're here to support them in their math classes, helping them get to changing the world—faster!
